How does Register My Race differ from the competition?

The biggest difference between RMR and the competition is ease of use. When you put on an event, the last thing you want to worry about is taking a lot of time creating your registration page. Are there any long-term commitments?

No. You can stop using our system at any time.

How does the Register My Race service fee work?

It's simple. For every successful registration using Register My Race, there's a small one-time service fee of 2.7% plus $0.70. This is one of the lowest fees in the industry. In fact, if you find any lower competitor fee, even if it's a custom quote, we will beat it by 5% guaranteed.

How does the Standard Merchant service fee work?

At Register My Race you have the ability to offer both credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) and Paypal, for a low, fixed rate of only 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction. Having the ability to collect both credit card and Paypal payments has been proven to increase your overall registration rate. The merchant service fee, along with your RMR service fee, is automatically deducted from each registration.

How do I get paid?

Getting access to your money is vital to putting on a great race, which is why we provide free, automatic daily deposits directly to both your bank and Paypal accounts every weekday! These automatic deposits give you the ability to access your money as quickly as possible, so you can put it to good use right away.

Note: Once a deposit is initiated, Paypal transfers fully funded within 3-5 business days, and credit card deposits are fully funded within 2-4 business days. You can choose to accept credit cards or Paypal or checks it is your choice.

How does the Lowest Fee Guarantee work?

Like all good students, we've already done our homework, and Register My Race offers one of the lowest rates available. But, if you do happen to find a lower price from another race registration provider, even if it is a custom quote, we will beat it by 5% guaranteed.

Why do you offer the Lowest Fee Guarantee?

We offer it for two important reasons...

First, we want to show you that we're willing to do what it takes to earn your business, because we know that once you use Register My Race, you'll fall in love with it, and it will be the start of a great long-term relationship.

Second, there are several unique, powerful features built into Register My Race to help you maximize your registrations, and it would be a shame if you missed out on those valuable features just to save a few cents with an inferior service. We'd rather take a cut and completely WOW you, than to never have the chance.

Can I pass the fees on to my registrants?

Yes. You have full control of what fees the registrant pays. You can absorb the fees as an event or you can choose what ever fee price you would like the registrant to pay. This gives you the opportunity to make even more money if you choose. You set the fee.

Can I see an example of fees?

Bill is putting on a half marathon in his home town for $50 per registrant. He uses Register My Race to process his transactions and help manage his event. His total Register My Race service fee + Braintree merchant fee is $3.80 per registrant. Bill decides to pass this fee on to the buyer, so each participant will pay $53.80 to run the race. Bill makes $50 per person.

Do I have to accept Paypal or Checks?

No. You can choose what type of payment method you will allow your registrants to use. You can allow Credit Card only or Paypal Only. You can disable pay by check option, it's really up to you of what payment methods you want to offer your registrants.

Note: To use Paypal as a method of payment to offer your registrants you must have a active Paypal account.

Can I give refunds?

We do not currently offer refunds through the RMR system. You can however give a refund to your registrants if you would like, you will just have to take care of it on your end by sending a check or Paypal transfer to the registrant.

Are my registrants credit card and personal details secure?

Yes. All subscriptions and payments are processed through 100% secure 256 Bit SSL checkout page. We also scan our website for vulnerabilities using Trust Guard PCI Security Scanning.
